About us...
Lakewood School District administers a
Prevention/Interventions Drug Omnibus Grant reaching the Northwest Region of
Washington State. This grant combines federal and state resources and
supports:
Prevention/Intervention efforts in 29 school
districts in the Region. Efforts of 50 Intervention Specialists. Training & networking opportunities. Services for 2200 students. Prevention strategies in 75 schools. Participation in state-wide, nationally
recognized, service evaluation. Participation in Collaborative Assessment of
Risk & Protective factors. Participation in State, regional, and community
efforts to increase resources and effectiveness. Fiscal oversight and monitoring.

Student Assistance Prevention-Intervention Services Program Manual is
now available.
